oboinus software package provides background previewer and setter for X implemented in Python, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install oboinus
oboinus is installed in your system.
Make ensure the oboinus package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep oboinus *
You will get with oboinus package name, version, architecture and description in a table
